About the Role
Join a prestigious UK law firm with a legacy dating back to 1841, known for its national and international advisory expertise in litigation, banking, corporate, construction, employment, housing, and real estate. Recognized in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK, this firm is expanding and launching a new position in Birmingham to drive its Business Development efforts, fully supported by an established London-based BD and Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Business Development initiatives for the Birmingham office, including organizing conferences, events, pitches, bids, and client relationship growth.
- Conduct research on target industries, companies, and professional bodies to support BD campaigns.
- Monitor and track new business opportunities and maintain BD pipelines in collaboration with partners and fee earners.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to execute events and develop thought leadership materials within the Midlands region.
- Serve as the first point of contact at the Birmingham office, ensuring its smooth operation.
Candidate Profile
- Some prior experience in Business Development or Marketing roles, ideally within professional services.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to advance professionally.
