Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Account & Business Development Manager to join our dedicated and supportive team in Onehunga, Auckland. This role offers the chance to manage an existing sales territory and customer base while also pursuing new business prospects throughout the North Island.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and sustain an established portfolio of customers.
- Actively identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Promote the comprehensive range of Seearco's coated abrasives, bonded abrasives, and related industrial products.
- Engage with a varied client base, including industrial end users, distributors, and trade merchants.
- Manage sales activities across the upper North Island territories, which include Greater Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Hawke’s Bay, and Taranaki.
- Travel approximately 3–4 nights every 6 to 8 weeks for business purposes.
Candidate Profile
- Energetic and motivated sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record in industrial B2B sales, account management, and business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to independently manage a territory.
- Professional demeanor coupled with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Experience or familiarity with industrial products, engineering supplies, abrasives, or related sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
