Business Analyst

Overview

An urgent opening is available for a Business Analyst to support a banking client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on driving digital transformation by collecting, evaluating, and clearly recording business requirements. You will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to make sure delivered solutions align with operational needs and create measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Meet stakeholders through interviews and workshops to capture detailed requirements.
• Review current business processes and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare documentation for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop user stories, process maps, and use case diagrams.
• Work alongside product owners, developers, and QA specialists throughout delivery.
• Support user acceptance testing by drafting test cases and checking results.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to change management and training-related activities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst on IT or digital initiatives.
• Strong capability in analysis and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Excel.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong documentation ability.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.

Certifications

• CBAP certification, or a similar professional credential, will be considered an advantage.

Additional information

This requirement is for a banking environment in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is contract-based and onsite.
