Role Overview
As a Branch Manager within ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will be instrumental in driving superior customer service and achieving outstanding growth metrics such as sales quality, revenue, productivity, and branch profitability, guided by our Pillars of Performance. You will lead all branch operations including sales, service excellence, and ensuring strict adherence to ANZ's policies. This leadership position supports the retail division which encompasses branches, contact centres, brokers, and mobile mortgage managers, all striving to become Australia's leaders in customer service and growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily branch operations and ensure overall performance meets financial targets and service standards.
- Drive high quality sales initiatives, maximize revenue streams, and boost branch profitability.
- Maintain compliance with ANZ’s internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance the customer experience by promoting excellent customer service and engagement within the branch.
- Lead and develop branch personnel to meet individual and team objectives.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Experience in business development and sales planning, preferably in financial services.
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong people management skills.
- Solid business management background complemented by keen commercial insight.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
- Strong digital literacy to foster customer engagement via digital channels.
- Previous experience in retail banking is highly desirable.
