Biology Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert to join our team in a contract capacity, working remotely. This position entails providing expert evaluation and feedback on biology-related data and content, primarily supporting AI development efforts within the biological sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct critical assessments and provide detailed critiques of biology-centric data, prompts, and content used in AI workflows.
• Develop, review, and refine complex scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that accurately represent real-world biological challenges.
• Deliver expert insights to enhance the accuracy, pertinence, and depth of AI training datasets and output related to biology.
• Collaborate closely with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and improve data quality, coverage, and representation in biological topics.
• Document findings, methodologies, and reasoning thoroughly to ensure project transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage in iterative review processes and ongoing evaluations aimed at advancing AI capabilities in biological subject matter.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing sessions to enrich project results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) in Biology or a closely related life science field.
• Expertise in fundamental biological concepts with the ability to translate complex topics for varied audiences.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills to clearly present feedback and scientific justifications.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical review of research, and synthesis of detailed subject matter.
• Proven capacity to work autonomously and consistently produce high-quality outcomes within project requirements.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology projects; familiarity with AI is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to scientific accuracy and rigor.
