Job Overview
Join Xiaomi Technology in Singapore as a Big Data Site Reliability Engineer responsible for building and maintaining robust big data infrastructure systems. This role involves enhancing system efficiency and reliability through automation and close collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support dependable big data platforms including HDFS, HBase, ElasticSearch, Doris, RocksDB, and ClickHouse.
- Create tools to automate management tasks for large-scale data environments, improving operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks and system failures in production environments.
- Work jointly with application developers to troubleshoot issues and enhance overall system robustness.
- Participate actively in 24/7 on-call rotations and manage incident responses effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
- Well-versed in networking concepts such as TCP/IP, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, network protocols, and computer architecture.
- Proficient in at least one backend programming language (Python, Golang, Java, etc.).
- Experience with Unix or Linux operating systems and networking is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English is preferred.
