Job Summary

The Baker role entails preparing a variety of baked goods according to established recipes and production guidelines, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries as per production and catering requirements.
• Contribute to planning production schedules to meet daily demands.
• Follow approved recipes, production standards, and utilize proper equipment for food preparation.
• Maintain accurate production records including waste tracking and notify supervisors of inventory shortages.
• Ensure appropriate portion control, food quality, and correct serving temperatures.
• Uphold cleanliness and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils in the workspace.
• Comply with food safety regulations and handle all items cautiously.
• Thoroughly clean equipment, workstations, and display areas after use.
• Engage with customers courteously, addressing complaints and forwarding concerns to supervisors.
• Work efficiently and calmly under peak production conditions.
• Guarantee that all food is presented and served according to standards.
• Adhere to corporate and OSHA safety and sanitation policies.
• Complete assigned shift responsibilities promptly and accurately.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous baking experience is mandatory.
