Role Overview
This full-time position based onsite in Doha seeks an Automotive Technician responsible for conducting routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and executing repairs and adjustments to maintain vehicle fleet performance and safety. Typical duties involve oil changes, brake and suspension inspections, and general upkeep tasks. The technician will also be responsible for keeping detailed service records, ensuring compliance with workshop safety protocols, and working collaboratively with team members to achieve operational deadlines. Clear communication regarding repair requirements and proactive maintenance suggestions are also essential components of this role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in maintenance and repair of light and heavy vehicles.
- Proficient in diagnosing and servicing automotive systems, including suspension adjustments.
- Experienced in conducting oil changes and fluid inspections as part of routine maintenance.
- Preferably holding a technical diploma or certificate in automotive technology or a related discipline.
- Proven track record as an automotive technician or mechanic, ideally in a fleet or construction-related environment.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, manuals, and diagnostic reports accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with adherence to safety standards and capability to work efficiently in a dynamic workshop setting.
- Basic computer literacy for updating maintenance logs and operating diagnostic equipment; possessing a valid driver’s license is advantageous.
