Role Overview
The Associate Valve Treatment Operator plays a vital role in preparing raw materials and performing valve treatment processes in compliance with both regulatory and company standards.
Key Duties
- Prepare mixtures and carry out valve treatment using designated fixtures, ensuring correct measurements and sequences; package finished products and coordinate shipment for sterilization. Address any operational issues with machinery promptly. Use computerized equipment such as EGR and semi-automatic systems.
- Conduct self-inspections of work output, make minor adjustments to machine settings and tool placements as necessary.
- Strictly adhere to standardized work instructions and SOPs. Accurately document traceable information on device history records and input data into the JDE system.
- Occasionally perform document revision checks.
Educational Background and Experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience in operating similar machinery is required.
Additional Skills and Competencies
- Good communication skills with a proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with JDE and RFSMART software applications.
- Capability to operate diverse manufacturing equipment, multiple machine operations, and associated fixtures.
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of and commitment to Edwards Environmental Health, Safety, and Quality standards relevant to medical device manufacturing.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to successfully complete required training and apply advanced work procedures.
- Compliance with all corporate policies, including health and safety protocols, pandemic measures, environmental protection, and pollution prevention responsibilities.
- Effective team collaboration skills, working closely with supervisors and peers, including providing and receiving constructive feedback during sequential work reviews.
