Cognito is the expert network arm of PTR, specializing in connecting clients with industry specialists in Power Grids and the New Energy sector for business-to-business consultations. It delivers quick, secure, and reliable access to the latest energy research and insights, facilitating informed decision-making in a fast-evolving field.
Role Purpose
The Associate Researcher position is integral to empowering clients within the Energy sector by providing swift access to specialized expertise. This role focuses on linking client queries to practical solutions through the development and maintenance of a robust network of industry professionals, helping clients address challenges and seize opportunities in the dynamic energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit qualified experts from various industries to enrich the expert network.
- Establish and sustain relationships with prospective experts via networking, outreach efforts, and partnerships with industry groups.
- Construct and oversee a diverse expert network, ensuring comprehensive sector coverage.
- Maintain and regularly update the expert database, including key details such as contact info, areas of expertise, and availability.
- Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend project needs and select appropriate experts for consultations and interviews.
- Coordinate expert sessions by managing schedules and ensuring effective communication between experts and clients.
- Manage the expert network as a product/service, refining its value and working with marketing to produce appealing promotional materials that highlight its unique advantages.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines; advanced qualifications such as a Master’s or MBA are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, business development, or similar roles.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Excellent communication skills for articulating the expert network's value and maintaining rapport with clients and experts.
- Strong aptitude in networking, capable of fostering enduring relationships across diverse sectors.
- A sense of ownership and responsibility for expert recruitment, network upkeep, and client satisfaction.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving to preempt and address operational challenges efficiently.
