Associate Product Tester

About the Role

DiversyFund, Inc is looking for an Associate Product Tester to work on DiversyFund Edge, a Mac-based executive co-pilot software. This position centers on thoroughly using the product as an executive would, identifying reliability issues, and delivering precise, high-grade bug reports for technical resolution. This is a hands-on testing role rather than software development or feature creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize DiversyFund Edge extensively throughout the workday on a Mac.
• Perform a comprehensive executive workflow including signing in, integrating applications like CRM, Portal, Google, exploring Insights, querying the Chief of Staff co-pilot, and testing approval processes.
• Consistently reproduce errors and prepare detailed bug reports encompassing steps to reproduce, expected versus actual behavior, screenshots, logs, and identification of affected system layers (Edge, Connect/session, CRM, Portal, or cloud).
• Conduct rigorous stress tests on AI co-pilot functionality by simulating complex user scenarios such as vague requests, follow-up queries, misuse of tools, approval checkpoints, and verifying accuracy of AI responses.
• Evaluate and compare Edge workflows with real CRM operations experience, specifically pipelines, contacts, messaging, and campaigns.
• Monitor and log persistent trust-blocking issues like missing data panels, connectivity failures, inaccurate outputs, malfunctioning approvals, and ensure these are updated or reopened as necessary.
• Retest resolved issues on actual hardware to ensure proper fixes.
• Optionally employ AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT) to create test reports, checklists, or minor scripts when requested.

Required Qualifications

• Regular, near-daily use of AI assistant/products such as Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT or similar, with a clear understanding of their typical failure modes like hallucinations and overconfidence.
• Hands-on experience with modern CRM platforms; GoHighLevel (GHL) strongly preferred, but HubSpot, Salesforce, Close or equivalent also accepted. Must understand CRM elements like contacts, pipelines, messaging, and the distinction between system indications of success versus actual workflow completion.
• Comfortable with Mac computers and skilled in documenting clear, comprehensive bug reports in writing.

Success Indicators

• Daily use and rigorous testing of DiversyFund Edge by personnel other than the CTO.
• Delivery of reusable, prioritized, transparent bug reports without superficial approvals.
• Early detection of AI and CRM edge cases based on prior knowledge of common failure patterns.
• Providing executives, including the CEO, with a transparent understanding of product performance prior to release.

Candidate Profile

• Highly attentive to detail, recognizing when functions are partially working.
• Proficient with AI-supported workflows and widely using tools like Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT as integral work instruments.
• Experienced CRM user familiar with genuine operational workflows, beyond demos.
• Excellent written communication skills to produce clear reports.
• Committed to honest assessment of software status, reporting failures candidly.
• Inquisitive and persistent in testing activities, though not necessarily a senior engineer.

Preferred Extras

• Background in quality assurance, product testing, customer support, or revenue operations.
• Experience or understanding of investment, fundraising, or financial service operations.
• Basic scripting ability or willingness to utilize AI assistance for minor scripting tasks when requested by technical leads.

Exclusions

• This role does not involve developing new features or owning platform or release engineering tasks.
• It is not focused on AI engineering or building AI architectures, though familiarity with AI tools is required.
• Not a conventional manual quality assurance role lacking experience in CRM or AI products.
