Assistant Sales Manager - Ready Mix Concrete

About the Role

We seek a dynamic and goal-driven Assistant Sales Manager to enhance the sales of Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. This role involves regular visits to construction sites and direct interaction with builders, architects, contractors, developers, and homeowners to convert prospects into sustained business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities for Ready Mix Concrete.
• Conduct daily site visits to identify and engage potential customers.
• Network with architects, structural consultants, contractors, builders, developers, and individual property owners.
• Establish and nurture strong client and channel partner relationships.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial conditions.
• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to guarantee timely delivery of products.
• Follow up on inquiries, converting them into confirmed sales orders.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and pricing strategies.
• Maintain detailed visit reports and regularly update the CRM and sales pipeline.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with construction sector professionals.
• Sound knowledge of the construction industry and RMC product range.
• Self-driven with a strong goal-oriented mindset.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
• Valid driving license with readiness to travel extensively.

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in any field is required; a degree in Civil Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

Between 2 to 5 years of sales experience in Ready Mix Concrete, cement, steel, TMT bars, construction chemicals, AAC blocks, or similar building materials is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with an existing network of contractors, builders, and architects.
