Job Summary
The role of Assistant Manager in Motor and General Insurance involves supporting core business activities, managing client interactions, and overseeing policy administration. The individual will aid senior staff in seamless operational execution within the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of motor and general insurance policies including issuance, renewal, and endorsements.
- Liaise with insurance providers to obtain quotes, facilitate policy issuance, and manage claims processes.
- Support senior team members in enhancing business development efforts and delivering excellent client service.
- Address client inquiries and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain detailed records of policies, client accounts, and transaction histories.
- Monitor policy renewals to promote consistent business retention.
- Help in processing claims and compiling necessary documentation.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and industry regulations.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of motor and general insurance products.
- Effective communication abilities and experience in client management.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Keen attention to detail along with strong problem-solving skills.
Educational Background
Applicants should hold at least a graduate degree in any field, with preference given to candidates educated in Insurance or Management disciplines.
Preferred Profile
- Prior experience within insurance broking firms or insurance companies.

Compensation
The salary package ranges from ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000 annually, equivalent to ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 monthly.
