About the Role
This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. You will support the Guest Relations function by helping deliver a consistently high-quality stay experience and by keeping day-to-day guest services running smoothly.
The employer is part of Minor Hotels, an international hospitality group with a broad portfolio of more than 530 properties across 50+ countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest questions, service requests, and complaints promptly and in a courteous, professional way.
- Assist the Front Office team with guest service coordination and related activities.
- Support efficient arrival and departure operations, including check-in and check-out.
- Work with other hotel departments to meet guest needs and quickly resolve concerns.
- Help coach and guide guest relations team members so service standards remain strong.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of guest satisfaction improvements.
- Review guest feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the experience.
- Take part in special functions and arrangements for VIP guests.
- Follow hotel procedures as well as applicable local regulations.
- Help manage guest relations resources and budget allocation.
Requirements
- A college diploma in hotel management or a closely related discipline is required.
- Prior exposure to Front Office or Guest Services operations is expected.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Hands-on experience using Front Office systems is needed.
- Good spoken and written English is required; Russian language skills are an added advantage.
