Area Director of Operations

Position Overview

The Area Director of Operations is a full-time position working remotely, charged with supervising operational outcomes throughout a designated region. The role ensures delivery of Care Financial Services Pvt. Ltd.'s offerings efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with organizational values and regulatory standards. The director is responsible for managing and supporting local operations teams, establishing performance benchmarks, monitoring vital indicators, and driving initiatives to improve service caliber and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting and the allocation of resources to maintain operational effectiveness across branches or regions.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, while coordinating regional workflows.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to design and execute strategies that enhance operations and customer experience.
• Provide regular performance reports and utilize data insights to inform decision-making.
• Work cross-functionally with finance, risk management, and customer service departments to foster aligned operational outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven expertise in managing multi-site or regional operations and applying process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, track performance metrics, and drive optimization initiatives.
• Effective team leadership skills encompassing coaching, performance evaluation, and cultivating a productive, inclusive work environment.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and managing costs to ensure sustainable financial health.
• Customer-centric approach with skills to resolve complex service challenges and maintain excellent client experiences.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, apt for collaborating with remote teams and senior management.
• Familiarity with financial services, microfinance, or NBFC operational environments is highly desirable; experience serving marginalized or underserved communities is an added advantage.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are preferred.
• Strong organizational aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and self-motivation to operate independently while managing multiple tasks remotely.
