Role Description
As an Applied Machine Learning Scientist on our engineering team, you will innovate and enhance machine learning algorithms to improve advertising campaign performance and return on investment (ROI). Your work will span designing new methods, refining existing state-of-the-art techniques, and developing solutions grounded in classic methodologies.
You will write production-ready code, sometimes collaborating with Data Engineers to deploy novel ML models. Additionally, you will prototype algorithms or data pipelines, evaluate them using historical data, and iteratively improve based on findings to optimize results.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related discipline; dual degrees are a bonus.
- Able to decompose vague or complex tasks into clear, actionable objectives.
- Strong foundational knowledge of statistics, optimization techniques, and machine learning principles.
- Proficient in programming, data structures, and algorithms.
