Application Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with a minimum of 8 years in Java or .NET development to join our team in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This role requires a deep understanding of APIs, microservices, database systems, and multi-tier application design principles. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines, scripting in Python and Bash, and knowledge of containers and Infrastructure as Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable application architectures with multi-tier design approaches.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to support integration across various systems.
• Ensure efficient use of databases and integration layers to optimize application performance.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python and Bash to automate tasks and streamline operations.
• Leverage container technologies and Infrastructure as Code for deployment and configuration management.
• Support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budget concepts.
• Exposure to chaos engineering practices to improve system resilience.
• Experience in infrastructure or application administration roles.
• Possession of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) certification is a plus.
