About the Role
The Operations division at the firm plays a pivotal role by partnering with various departments to deliver comprehensive banking, sales & trading, and asset management services to clients globally. Within Operations, essential risk management and stringent controls safeguard the firm's assets and maintain its esteemed reputation. This division operates across all product lines and markets, acting as internal collaborators who design processes, enforce controls, and guide the specification of key systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity throughout the business.
The Margin Lending Group, positioned within the Margin, Collateral and Valuations Operations, is charged with monitoring margin risk for Prime Margin Lending (MCVO) and Global Security Services (GSS). The selected Analyst will join a dedicated team focusing on the management and oversight of margin exposure linked to specific accounts. This role demands active interaction with a diverse set of business partners, including departments such as Credit, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Projects, spanning locations in London, New York, and Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and issue margin calls, ensuring thorough validation and prompt follow-up to confirm timely receipt.
- Manage and respond efficiently to all incoming inquiries.
- Collaborate extensively with various bank divisions including Risk, Credit, and Technology teams.
- Proactively contribute to enhancing team processes and strengthening control mechanisms.
- Address, escalate, and resolve client disputes and queries effectively.
- Participate in and sometimes lead projects and initiatives both within the team and across global regions.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

- Minimum of two years’ experience in Operations or a closely related area.
- Focus on process controls and compliance.
- Competency in juggling multiple complex issues simultaneously while adhering to client deadlines.
