Program Overview
Allianz Australia is offering a two-year graduate pathway in data analytics designed to give early-career professionals practical exposure to how data supports decision-making across the business. The program includes rotations through teams working on data preparation, turning information into insights, and partnering with stakeholders, helping participants understand how data contributes to day-to-day operations and the wider transformation of the insurance sector. By the end of the program, graduates are expected to be well positioned to accelerate their careers and contribute meaningfully.
The role is based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
What You’ll Do
- Rotate through different teams to build practical experience across key data-focused workstreams.
- Work on organising and shaping data so it can be used effectively by the business.
- Help communicate insights in a clear way that supports internal decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions.
- Develop a broader understanding of how data influences operations throughout the organisation.

What We’re Looking For
- Applicants who have completed tertiary study in a discipline related to data.
- People who stay involved in community or extracurricular activities.
- Some work experience in either customer service or a corporate setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to express ideas effectively.
- Evidence of leadership and empathy developed through different experiences.
- Genuine interest in numbers, data, and customer care.
Eligibility
To be considered, candidates must have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification by the end of 2026. Individuals who graduated no more than two years before 2026 may also be eligible. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or hold Australian permanent residency. A current academic transcript or proof of results must be included, along with a cover letter explaining suitability and a resume. Candidates should also be ready to undertake industry qualifications.
