Overview
Handshake is inviting motivated individuals, including current Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree students as well as graduates, to engage in AI research projects with leading AI laboratories. This opportunity enables participants to apply their academic knowledge to enhance the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs) across a range of specific domains and subject areas.
Job Details
- This is a fully remote and asynchronous role, allowing you to work independently from any location.
- You have flexibility with no minimum hour requirements, working on short-term projects focused on AI training.
- Tasks include developing domain-specific prompts and assessing responses generated by LLMs, among other related duties.
- This role offers a chance to develop new skills and contribute meaningfully to evolving AI technologies across varied disciplines.
- Project assignment will depend on the availability of suitable projects at any given time.
Who Should Apply
- Applicants should be current students pursuing Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degrees, or individuals who already hold these degrees.
- Ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and the capacity to accurately follow detailed instructions.
- Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous setup, collaborating with top-tier AI research teams.

Work Authorization
F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be considered for projects via Handshake AI, subject to coordination with their Designated School Official to verify eligibility. Note that if your institution requires CPT to be linked to a course, Handshake AI projects might not satisfy this requirement. STEM OPT holders are not supported in this program.
