About the role
This position is for a practical, hands-on AI Engineer who will design, build, and run AI-enabled software products that create immediate value in real business settings. The job combines software engineering, product engineering, and applied AI, with an emphasis on implementation over research or theory. Working within CodeNinja’s AI-first approach, you will use LLMs, AI agents, and automation to improve how software is developed, deployed, and maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and refine sophisticated prompts to extract accurate financial text and data.
- Use generative AI platforms and code to create insightful analytics visualizations.
- Design autonomous LLM-based workflows and agents that reduce manual reporting effort.
- Adapt models through fine-tuning or retrieval-augmented generation using financial documentation.
- Process raw financial files by cleaning, transforming, and packaging them into efficient prompt-ready inputs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience across AI, data science, and software engineering, including practical exposure to banking projects.
- Strong Python skills, with working knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Deep hands-on experience with commercial LLMs, vector databases, DataRobot, and SAS EG.
