AI Engineer – Agentic Systems

Role Overview

As an AI Engineer at rightflow within INF, you will be instrumental in designing and evolving our multi-agent architecture, determining the interaction patterns among agents. You will develop an evaluation infrastructure to quantitatively assess agent behaviors, ensuring decisions are data-driven rather than intuitive. Your responsibilities include context and agent engineering—deciding precisely what information each agent requires and when. You will reliably deploy agents into production with appropriate safety measures and monitoring. Coding efficiently is key; leveraging tools such as Claude Code or preferred alternatives, you will generate a substantial amount of dependable output rapidly. Collaboration is vital as you work closely with the founding team, product managers, and legal experts, bringing innovative ideas proactively.

Candidate Profile

• Proven hands-on experience not only using but building and deploying agent and multi-agent systems in production environments.
• Expertise in evaluating agent systems, translating operational effectiveness into measurable metrics.
• Efficient coding practices with routine use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to operate autonomously and thrive in ambiguous scenarios lacking clear pathways.
• Strong preference for impact and end-to-end ownership over rigid working hours.
• Solid foundation in software engineering, with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Bonus if experienced in deployment on hyperscalers and/or Kubernetes.
• Comfortable communicating professionally in English at a C1 level; German language skills are advantageous.
• Experience in the legal or law firm domain is a plus.
