AI Engineer

Position Overview

As an AI Engineer at SCOUTASTIC, you will spearhead the advancement of our scouting platform by designing and implementing innovative AI-driven features that push the boundaries of what’s possible. Our software, utilized by over 130 professional football clubs worldwide, is expanding into additional sports, and your contributions will directly shape how clubs discover and assess talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-based features that enhance platform intelligence, including smart search functions, recommendations, and automated data enrichment.
• Leverage cutting-edge AI development tools such as Claude Code to amplify output and evolve the platform.
• Rapidly prototype and experiment with new AI technologies to evaluate their product potential.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs), embeddings, and other AI models within existing infrastructure, building robust data pipelines.
• Maintain full ownership of projects from initial experimentation through production deployment and iterative improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.
• Passion for state-of-the-art AI technologies, especially large language models and their practical applications.
• Experience with AI tooling and critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs.
• Creative thinker who enjoys exploring unconventional solutions.
