Agile Scrum/Flow Master

Role Overview

As an Agile Scrum/Flow Master based in Raleigh, NC, you will play a crucial role facilitating Agile ceremonies like Scrum and Kanban to support agile teams in executing Data Modernization projects effectively. You will plan and oversee Epics and features to maximize business value while collaborating closely with various stakeholders and business units to prioritize and track tasks daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Scrum and Kanban meetings.
• Develop and deliver Epics and features aligned with business goals for Data Modernization.
• Manage daily task assignments and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles impeding team progress.
• Coordinate release planning with technical leadership and team members.
• Employ Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for workflow coordination and reporting.
• Create and refine JIRA dashboards to monitor sprint and workflow status, providing concise updates.
• Effectively juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Work with stakeholders on backlog grooming, prioritization, and requirement gathering for epics, stories, and tasks.
• Break down work, estimate efforts, plan sprints, and track progress carefully.
• Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical participants.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze business impacts, preparing reports accordingly.
• Secure stakeholder buy-in and endorsement of Agile methodologies.
• Analyze data to deliver meaningful insights to enhance project and portfolio management.
• Use leadership, interpersonal abilities, and conflict resolution to guide agile teams.
• Implement just-in-time and just-enough planning to maintain project momentum.
• Participate actively in Program Increment (PI) planning and manage dependencies across multiple teams.
• Provide Agile teams with necessary support and expertise in the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain industry certifications such as Certified Agile Scrum Master, Kanban Flow Master, SPC, SAFe Agilist, and Project Manager credentials.

Experience Requirement

A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in Agile teams and project management is mandatory for this role.
