Its lead candidate is lorundrostat, a proprietary oral and highly selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor. The company is based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and operates as a fully remote organization.

Role summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk supports the Finance team by handling invoices and payments accurately and on time. The position works across internal teams and outside vendors to keep payables operations running smoothly, maintain compliance with controls, and support a fast-moving biotech environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Review incoming invoices and payment requests, then process them according to internal policies and procedures.
  • Check vendor information, invoice accuracy, purchase order matching, and required approvals before payment.
  • Monitor the accounts payable inbox each day and respond to vendor questions promptly and professionally.
  • Make sure invoices are assigned to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centers.
  • Record and update entries in the company’s finance systems, including NetSuite and Tipalti.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs to ensure vendors are paid on schedule.
  • Help onboard new vendors and maintain vendor records in line with internal requirements.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate or resolve differences.
  • Support month-end close work such as AP aging review and accrual preparation.
  • Organize and file backup documentation in a clear, audit-ready format.
  • Provide support to the AP Manager or Senior Accountant on reporting and other ad hoc tasks.

Skills and attributes

  • Strong organization and careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to work methodically while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Comfort with repetitive administrative work that requires accuracy and concentration.
  • Clear communication skills for dealing with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the finance function.
  • Preferred exposure to life sciences vendor operations or the life sciences sector.
  • Experience with ERP tools such as NetSuite or AP automation tools such as Tipalti is a plus.

Physical requirements

This is primarily a desk-based role. The employee is expected to speak and listen regularly and spend extended periods working on a keyboard and viewing a monitor or laptop. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Travel

Education and experience

  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of practical experience in accounts payable or finance support, preferably in a public company and ideally in life sciences.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and procure-to-pay workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high invoice volumes and vendor communication with speed and precision.
  • Previous use of ERP systems, especially NetSuite, and AP automation platforms such as Tipalti is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting month-end close tasks, including accruals and reconciliations, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SOX-compliant environments and internal controls is beneficial.
