Role Overview
This role is a 12-month fixed-term position working onsite from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, payments, petty cash, purchase orders, and various financial transactions related to logistics and corporate expenses. Additional duties include managing cheque runs, electronic fund transfers (EFT), cheque mailing, fleet card accounts, creditor reconciliations, and responding to client inquiries, including employee expense reimbursements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar accounts payable role
- Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Good organizational abilities with effective multitasking and prioritization
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service orientation
