Accounting Specialist

Overview

Borsuk Business is hiring an Accounting Specialist to join its Dubai team. This is a full-time, five-day workweek role based in Barsha Heights, close to the metro. The position suits a detail-focused professional who can support accounting work for several UAE client companies and grow into managing a personal client portfolio as the business expands.

Role summary

You will work alongside the Accounting Manager to handle core accounting activities across multiple clients in the UAE. The role involves accurate recordkeeping, tax support, client communication, and compliance with local accounting and tax rules.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the routine accounting tasks for allocated client companies.
• Maintain books, perform reconciliations, and keep financial records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns.
• Support Corporate Tax compliance work and filing requirements.
• Use Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks on a daily basis.
• Draft financial statements and management reports.
• Communicate directly with clients when needed.
• Ensure all work follows UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience in UAE accounting is required.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax rules.
• Practical experience using Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks.
• Very strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage assigned clients independently.
• Experience dealing with several companies or client accounts.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a monthly salary of AED 4,500, along with commission for each client company managed. Additional benefits include an employment visa and medical insurance.

Work arrangement

This is a full-time onsite position with a 5-day workweek in Barsha Heights, Dubai.
