About the Role
Our client, a distinguished Gems & Jewellery Manufacturing Company located in South Delhi, urgently seeks a skilled Accountant to join their finance team immediately. This opportunity offers a monthly salary between ₹30,000 and ₹40,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day financial accounts using Tally software.
- Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and file the associated returns.
- Support Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and ensure compliance.
- Manage online banking transactions and facilitate payments to vendors.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and keep accurate financial records.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure all statutory requirements are met.
- Maintain precise accounting documentation and generate relevant reports.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of Tally ERP, with experience in Ornate Software considered a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, ITR, and fundamental accounting principles.
- Familiarity with online banking and payment platforms.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced use of MS Excel.
- Educational qualification: B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent degree.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in accounting, preferably within the Gems & Jewellery Manufacturing sector.
