Job description
Financial and Accounting Duties
Responsible for managing daily accounting activities such as handling accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank accounts, and maintaining the general ledger accurately.
Prepare and complete financial reports at monthly, quarterly, and annually intervals, ensuring precision and timeliness.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements associated with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax among other statutory compliances.
Oversee cash flow management, create budgets, and perform financial forecasting to assist strategic business planning.
Collaborate with auditors to facilitate internal, statutory, and tax audit processes smoothly.
Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of journal entries, invoices, and cost claims to maintain financial integrity.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial data within ERP or accounting software platforms such as Tally.
Ensure prompt submission and filing of statutory returns including GST and TDS along with other mandatory regulatory documentation.
Monitor and control credit by actively pursuing outstanding receivables from clients to optimize cash flow.
