Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive based in Dublin focused on new customer acquisition and growth in the Mid-Market sector. This role requires an experienced seller capable of managing the entire sales cycle with a proactive outbound approach and strong urgency. You will engage with senior technical stakeholders like CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Product and Engineering, developing deep product knowledge particularly in technical scenarios involving APIs, data, developer tools, infrastructure, and AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt an outbound-first approach, proactively creating and accelerating new sales pipelines.
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and discovery through solution alignment, demonstrations, stakeholder management, negotiation, and closure.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery calls to identify business goals and technical needs, converting these into compelling value propositions.
- Lead live product demonstrations and tailor narratives to guide client evaluation, including light solution design related to workspace architecture, permissions, rollout strategies, and integrations to facilitate adoption.
- Navigate complex commercial requirements such as security, legal, and procurement with partner support.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain consistent high-velocity execution to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams to relay customer insights for business refinement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 7+ years of proven success in a full-cycle revenue-generating sales role, consistently meeting targets.
- Experience interacting with technical decision-makers and translating product features into workflow benefits and ROI.
- Strong outbound sales discipline, creativity in pipeline generation, and comprehensive sales capabilities including discovery, demos, and closing.
- Able to manage complex multi-threaded deals and influence multiple stakeholders within customer organizations.
- High ownership and proactive problem-solving skills, gaining trust across teams.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools personally and familiarity with AI-driven work methodologies.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and helping develop repeatable sales processes as the company expands in the CEE region.
- Fluency in English and Polish is mandatory.
- Curious about AI and willing to adopt AI tools to enhance productivity.
Preferred but Not Required
- Knowledge of usage-based or consumption pricing models.
- Experience with developer tools, APIs, data infrastructure, or AI products.
- Track record of advancing from commercial to mid-market sales roles.
- Fluency in Ukrainian is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
Notion offers competitive remuneration packages including base salary, incentives, equity, and benefits. For this position, the estimated total on-target earnings range between €145,000 and €175,000 annually depending on factors such as location, role complexity, and candidate's experience.
