About the internship

This remote internship is for a software testing intern who will help validate product functionality through manual testing and clear defect reporting. The role is centered on understanding requirements, translating them into test coverage, and working closely with developers to confirm fixes and track progress.

Key responsibilities

Review business requirements and turn them into practical test scenarios.
Create test cases and prepare suitable test data for different features.
Carry out manual testing independently.
Log bugs in a clear and structured way, including enough detail for quick investigation.
Work with developers to clarify issues and support defect resolution.
Re-test fixed issues and confirm that the correction works as expected.
Provide regular updates on test progress, defects found, and any blockers.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 8 Jul 2026 and 12 Aug 2026, can commit for 3 months, have relevant skills and interest, and are Computer Science Engineering students.

Requirements

Manual testing capability.
Ability to write effective test cases.
Skills in bug reporting and documentation.
Basic understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC).
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Exposure to automation testing tools is a plus.
Basic awareness of AI tools used in software testing is a plus.
