About the internship
This remote internship is for a Sales Counsellor role focused on lead engagement, prospect qualification, and sales coordination. The selected intern will connect with prospective clients, respond to incoming leads, and support the sales pipeline through follow-ups and record-keeping.

What you’ll do
- Reach out to potential clients by phone and follow up to understand their needs and level of interest.
- Handle inbound leads and share basic details about the company’s products or services.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects to keep them engaged and moving through the funnel.
- Screen leads against set criteria to identify those most likely to convert.
- Pass qualified prospects to the Sales Manager for deeper discussions and closure.
- Record calls, follow-ups, and lead updates accurately in the CRM or tracking tool.
- Work closely with the sales team so handovers and communication stay smooth.
- Monitor lead movement and share periodic updates on lead-generation activity.
- Resolve simple customer questions and route more complex concerns to the right team member.
- Assist the sales team in meeting lead-generation and conversion targets.
