About the internship

NovaRyd is creating India’s first affordable, fully electric auto-rickshaw ride-hailing network. The model combines low fares with advertising on vehicles and hourly driver wages to make mobility more accessible and climate-friendly.

What you’ll do

• Partner closely with the founder to help launch the business and manage day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, advertisers, and other external partners to keep activities running smoothly.
• Support business development efforts, customer acquisition, and neighbourhood marketing initiatives.
• Carry out market research, study competitors, and spot opportunities for growth.
• Help structure operational workflows, maintain documentation, and organise launch-related tasks.
• Assist with testing the NovaRyd mobile app and gathering feedback from users.
• Travel to field locations whenever needed and help troubleshoot operational issues on the ground.
• Own small to medium projects and drive new ideas from planning through execution.

Exposure and learning

This role offers direct exposure to operations, marketing, partnerships, fundraising, product development, and business strategy while working with the founder.

Who can apply

This internship is open only to candidates who can work full time from the office, can begin between 4 July 2026 and 8 August 2026, and are available for a 6-month duration. Applicants must be based in Mumbai. Candidates with relevant skills and genuine interest are preferred. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also welcome. Stipend

₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month.

Job offer on conversion

If converted to a permanent employee, the expected salary is ₹3,60,000 to ₹4,80,000 per year.
