Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and meticulous YouTube Video Editor to creatively convert unedited footage into captivating videos that maintain viewer interest. The position requires proficiency in video editing, motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and crafting visually attractive materials tailored for YouTube audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit both long-form videos and short clips such as shorts and reels.
- Add subtitles, smooth transitions, engaging B-roll footage, and visual effects.
- Ensure all content complies with the channel's quality benchmarks and meets upload timelines.
Skills and Tools
- Experience using video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent software.
- Understanding of YouTube trends and strategies to improve viewer retention.
- Ability to pace videos effectively and create compelling thumbnails.
