The second edition of the Young Graduate Program in Jamaica offers a 12-month intensive development path designed to cultivate future leaders in hotel management. This hands-on program provides a comprehensive 360º view of the hospitality industry by rotating through key operational areas such as Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Management.
Program Structure and Opportunities
- Initial phase includes rotations across main departments to gain operational understanding.
- Following rotations, participants select an area of specialization to deepen expertise and professional skills.
- In the final stage, participants undertake a business-impacting project to apply their knowledge.
- The program supports development of essential soft skills including leadership, business management, project management, and interpersonal relations.
- Participants receive regular assessments, constructive feedback, and personalized mentoring throughout the program.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduates within three years holding university degrees preferably in Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields; specialized master's degrees are advantageous.
- Relevant experience up to three years in the hospitality or related industries is favored.
- Willingness to relocate and geographic mobility.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1 level) is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong traits include proactivity, innovative thinking, emerging leadership abilities, customer focus, and problem-solving skills.
