About Rabot Energy

Rabot Energy delivers dynamic electricity tariffs exclusively with 100% renewable energy. We innovate procurement to ensure ecological sustainability and help customers save costs by passing wholesale electricity prices directly to them, achieving an average 35% reduction in bills. Our service especially benefits electric vehicle owners and smart meter users by enabling automated charging at times when electricity prices are lowest via our app, which also displays real-time market prices.

We focus on increasing renewable energy usage in Germany through smart charging and energy management solutions. Trusted by over 100,000 customers, our vision is to empower everyone to manage energy smartly while preserving the environment and natural resources, advancing the energy transition.

Why Join Us Now?

The energy sector is undergoing its biggest transformation in decades. Unlike established corporations, Rabot is rapidly growing and evolving — offering a unique chance to shape emerging processes and work directly with real energy data beyond theory.

Your Role and Mission

As part of the Energy Data Management team, you will help ensure comprehensive understanding, monitoring, and forecasting of energy data. Your tasks include developing monitoring dashboards, conducting data analyses, and enhancing forecasting techniques. You will transform quarter-hourly energy time series data into clear visual formats to support effective decision-making.

Expected Milestones

  • By month 3: Complete onboarding and deploy your first monitoring dashboard in active use.
  • By month 6: Deliver two additional dashboards successfully.
  • By month 12: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of quarter-hourly energy data to independently build dashboards and assist with analyses and forecasts.

Candidate Profile

  • Skilled analyst with strong experience or interest in data and time-series analysis.
  • Currently enrolled student in data science, business, technical, or related studies, eligible to work as a student employee.
  • Organized and process-oriented, able to manage large datasets while maintaining clarity.
  • Self-driven with proactive ownership attitude, able to take initiative without constant supervision.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys close teamwork.
  • Bonus qualifications: Knowledge of SQL and basic experience with dbt.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful responsibility with direct impact through dashboards that are actively used within the team.
  • Practical learning experience working hands-on with authentic energy time-series data and forecasting.
  • Flexible working hours tailored around your study commitments.
  • A transparent, supportive work culture that values learning from mistakes.
  • Additional benefits including employee discounts on our electricity tariff and partnership access to Urban Sports Club.
