About the Role
Whitehaven Coal is hiring an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for its Gunnedah Open Cuts sites. This position offers the chance to work closely with mine operations while enjoying stability, a strong team culture, and long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Make sure all inbound and outbound goods, supplies, and related records are completed correctly and with full detail.
- Carry out routine stocktakes to keep inventory levels accurate, including consignment stock.
- Work with site teams to coordinate the supply of goods and services so maintenance and material needs are completed on time.
- Source goods and services in a way that delivers the best overall cost and availability for Whitehaven Coal’s business needs.
- Keep the list of critical parts and components current and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained.
- Oversee and coordinate store personnel across the Gunnedah Open Cut sites.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Warehouse Management, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent plant clerical experience, or a Mechanical Trade background.
- Prior experience in coal mining or a similar industry in stores, warehousing, or administrative duties.
- A current forklift licence.
- Hands-on experience with warehousing or stock control systems.
