Role Overview
As a Vineyard Operator based in the Langhorne Creek region, you will join our Vineyard Operations Team and be responsible for performing key vineyard tasks to meet seasonal needs. This hands-on position requires working under supervision to maintain vineyards adhering to the highest standards in quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute assigned vineyard tasks following company guidelines.
- Operate and maintain vineyard machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Promptly report any irregularities or problems to supervisory personnel.
- Keep accurate records and support inventory management activities.
- Maintain clear communication with managers, team members, and contractors.
- Consistently enforce health, safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic, coupled with communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- A motivated, eager-to-learn attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vineyard operations or agriculture.
- Fundamental computer skills.
- Holding a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle license.
