Position Overview
This is a contract role titled Video Annotation Specialist offering a remuneration range between $40 and $80 per hour, working remotely within the United States. Weekly commitment varies from 10 to 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and segment repeated occurrences in brief video segments following specific project directives.
- Precisely label each identified event with accurate start and finish timestamps.
- Write succinct, clear, and consistent descriptions for all annotated events.
- Maintain adherence to high standards of quality and uniformity in completed annotations.
- Engage in written and spoken communication to clarify requirements and resolve uncertainties.
- Continuously review and improve annotation outputs as project guidelines evolve.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in English at a native level, both written and spoken, essential for annotation accuracy and communication.
- Prior experience in video annotation, editing, videography, or related disciplines.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring precise data labeling.
- Capability to comprehend and implement complex annotation instructions and respond promptly to feedback.
- Experience or background in AI training projects or machine learning data annotation is advantageous.
