Role Overview
The Vice President position, located full-time on-site in Miami, FL, entails leading deal execution tasks such as opportunity sourcing, managing due diligence across various workstreams, coordinating with external advisors, and preparing materials for investment committees. The role involves conducting in-depth financial analyses and modeling, assessing market conditions and competition, and formulating clear investment theses.
Daily activities include collaborating with portfolio company leaders to shape strategic initiatives, monitoring progress against value creation plans, and supporting critical financial and operational decisions. Additional duties include mentoring junior staff, enhancing firm processes, and representing Greenwood Growth Partners in discussions with management teams, lenders, and stakeholders.
Candidate Qualifications
- Expertise in financial analysis and modeling, including valuation, transaction structuring, and performance evaluation.
- Strong strategic thinking and business planning skills, capable of analyzing markets, competitive landscapes, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Proficient in relationship management, effective communication, and negotiation with senior executives and partners.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and multiple workstreams, delivering results under fast-paced conditions.
- Previous roles in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or similar investment-focused environments.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline; an MBA or comparable advanced degree is desired.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Miami with a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Comfortable utilizing data-driven approaches, presentation software, and standard financial and productivity tools.
