Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Valeter to join our Valet Centre located in Linwood. This full-time, onsite position involves maintaining our vehicles in pristine condition and supporting branch operations.

Working Hours

The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Primary Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of sold and inventory vehicles to a superior standard
• External vehicle cleaning using high-powered pressure washers
• Interior cleaning and shampooing with high-powered vacuums
• Enhancement of vehicle bodywork through polishing and buffing machines
• Adherence to health and safety policies while handling chemicals
• Maintenance and secure handling of equipment and machinery, timely reporting of any faults, and compliance with manufacturers’ guidelines and PPE instructions
• Meeting established timeframes and productivity targets
• Managing vehicle schedules using an online diary system
• Documenting daily completed tasks
• Performing additional tasks to support branch requirements as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a valid full UK driving license
• Basic proficiency with computers
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-driven with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to engage in training sessions

While experience in valet services is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with strong enthusiasm and the specified skills will be considered. Successful hires will also attend the Arnold Clark Valet Academy for proper training.
