User Interface Designer – Junior (Remote)

Overview

We are looking for a User Interface Designer to join a fast-paced digital venture studio. This role focuses on creating clean, modern, and conversion-optimized landing pages primarily for English-speaking users. The ideal candidate will emphasize mobile-first design principles, responsive layouts for desktops, accessible typography, and a visual style that conveys calmness and reliability without resorting to common startup design clichés.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mobile-first and adaptive landing pages aimed at English-speaking markets
• Use clear and accessible typography along with strong visual hierarchy to enhance trust and conversion rates
• Create calm, contemporary designs that steer clear of typical startup gradients and repetitive design trends
• Organize Figma files methodically to ensure smooth handoff to developers
• Work closely with provided briefs, finalized copy, and technical specifications to ensure design consistency
• Design two hero section variants as part of a paid test project to facilitate A/B testing
• Explain design decisions clearly and incorporate feedback iteratively
• Optionally assist with landing page development using Next.js and Vercel if experienced

Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience designing landing pages for English-speaking or Western audiences
• Strong portfolio highlighting mobile-first and responsive web design skills
• Proficiency with Figma, especially in organizing files for developer collaboration
• Thorough knowledge of accessibility standards, user experience practices, and conversion optimization
• A visual style that communicates calmness, trustworthiness, and modernity
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Optional knowledge of Next.js and Vercel is advantageous but not mandatory
• Availability for a compensated test design task and potential longer-term engagement
• Capability to provide clear timelines and clarify whether service includes design only or design plus development

Additional Information

Candidates selected will undertake a paid practical test designing a mobile app landing page with two hero versions for A/B testing. Successful candidates may be offered a permanent role with continuous projects.
