Upper Elementary Teacher (Grades 3-5) - SY26-27

Role Overview

We are seeking an Upper Elementary Teacher for grades 3 through 5 to join our team starting August 2026 in Boston, MA. This full-time position involves leading and supporting students in a mission-driven environment dedicated to educational equity and student success.

Teacher Responsibilities

• Serve as a full-time lead teacher managing classroom learning for upper elementary grades.
• Carry out daily school duties including lunch, arrival/dismissal, recess, and hallway supervision.
• Collaborate with a diverse teaching team to develop rigorous curricula and engaging lessons.
• Provide academic and personal support guiding students toward college readiness.

Required Credentials

• At least one year of experience as a lead teacher.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License for Elementary education (grades 1-6) with SEI endorsement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States by the first employment day.

Compensation and Benefits

Salaries follow the guidelines established by the host school district’s collective bargaining agreements. Employees receive benefits consistent with union policies including personal and sick leave, health insurance, and dental coverage.
