UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Squeaky Technologies is searching for a skilled UI/UX Designer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting user-friendly and visually compelling interfaces that improve the overall user experience. This position involves close collaboration with developers, project leaders, and other stakeholders to design engaging experiences for both web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to collect and assess user needs.
• Perform user research and conduct usability assessments to uncover user challenges and requirements.
• Generate detailed user personas, scenarios, and flowcharts to support the design process.
• Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that clearly represent design concepts.
• Create appealing, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Maintain brand consistency across various digital channels.
• Collaborate with developers to guarantee accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Keep updated with the latest trends and technological advances in UI/UX design.
• Serve as an advocate for user-centered design principles to ensure the user’s voice is prioritized.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a closely related discipline.
• Documented experience as a UI/UX designer supported by a comprehensive portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools including Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in user research techniques, usability testing, and applying user-centered design frameworks.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-moving and deadline-driven setting.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
