Job Overview

Speed Motors is seeking a skilled and dependable Two Wheeler Mechanic to manage routine servicing, mechanical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and repair tasks for various TVS motorcycles and scooters including models like TVS Apache, Jupiter, Ntorq, Raider, XL100, and iQube EV.

Primary Duties

• Conduct general maintenance such as oil changes, brake adjustments, chain lubrication, engine tuning, and filter replacements.
• Perform diagnostics and repair of engine, clutch, gearbox, suspension, fuel supply (including FI systems), and braking issues.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components including starter systems, battery, wiring harnesses, digital consoles, and lighting systems.
• Carry out road tests before and after servicing to verify safety and optimal performance.
• Follow job cards based on customer complaints and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and keep the workshop clean adhering to 5S standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of one year practical experience as a two-wheeler mechanic; experience with TVS or authorized multi-brand service centers will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of engine overhauling, modern fuel injection systems, brake mechanisms, and basic electrical circuits.
• Educational background with at least 10th pass; ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferable.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license to conduct test rides.
• Demonstrates punctuality, integrity, a hardworking nature, and capability to collaborate effectively within a workshop team environment.
