Truck Driver

Job Summary

Seeking a responsible Truck Driver to operate Transmed delivery trucks ensuring safety, timely deliveries, and precise order verification according to quality assurance protocols.

Key Duties

• Operate trucks securely and in line with company QA standards to prevent accidents and damages.
• Park vehicles carefully within customer premises without causing any harm to people or property.
• Follow supervisors' instructions faithfully.
• Maintain professionalism and respect towards customer personnel and their facilities.
• Verify delivery quantities directly with customer staff to ensure complete accuracy, obtaining signed invoices and collecting payments (cash or cheque) as stipulated in delivery agreements.

Vehicle and Workplace Maintenance

• Maintain personal appearance and hygiene at the highest company standards.
• Keep the truck clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
• Carry out routine vehicle upkeep and promptly report any defects to supervisors and maintenance management.

Requirements

• Secondary education completion is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Ghana Class C driving license.
• Proficient truck driving skills, with knowledge of routes and customer locations to ensure efficient punctual deliveries.
