Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible Truck Driver to transport goods between various locations including warehouses, factories, customers, and distribution hubs. The role involves ensuring all cargo is handled safely and deliveries are carried out on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to deliver goods across designated routes between warehouses, factories, clients, and distribution centers.
• Assist or supervise loading and unloading of cargo to ensure efficient handling and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the truck before and after each trip, checking brakes, tires, lights, and fuel levels.
• Secure cargo properly to avoid any damage during transportation.
• Adhere strictly to assigned delivery timelines and planned routes.
• Maintain precise delivery logs, records, and required transport documentation.
• Obtain customer signatures or proof upon successful delivery.
• Notify supervisors immediately about any accidents, delays, vehicle issues, or damage to cargo.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any repair needs promptly.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies diligently.
• Keep the truck clean and ensure it remains in good operational condition.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse personnel, dispatch teams, and customers to facilitate smooth delivery processes.

Requirements

• Valid driving license suitable for operating heavy trucks.
• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
• Ability to follow schedules, routes and handle documentation carefully.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with teams and clients.
