Role Overview

Located at the Kingston branch, the Transport Coordinator will be responsible for organizing safe, cost-effective, and efficient equipment transportation across interstate, intrastate, and specific customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation services for equipment delivery and pickup across various Coates branches.
• Utilize Coates’ transport management system to schedule daily deliveries, employing both company and contracted drivers.
• Collaborate with Fleet and Operations teams to ensure punctual equipment dispatch and collection.
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are generated and finalized within the respective month.
• Evaluate transportation activities and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Maintain the safety of team members and customers throughout transport operations.

Requirements

• Experience in transport, fleet, or logistics coordination.
• Strong time management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and payment procedures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills coupled with an analytical approach.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
