Job purpose
This role focuses on building capability across internal and external sales teams by planning, delivering, and monitoring training activities. The position also supports business performance by helping resolve operational challenges, creating sales enablement material, and ensuring key activity targets are met in the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Design and run training programs for relationship officers so their product knowledge and selling skills stay current.
- Work alongside branch teams during client conversations and business conversion discussions when required.
- Respond to queries from internal employees through phone and email.
- Support business execution by helping address day-to-day business challenges.
- Create enablement material such as one-pagers, presentations, calculators, product comparison sheets, and sales kits for stakeholders.
- Develop training content for internal employees.
- Plan the monthly training calendar after discussing requirements with sales stakeholders in the assigned territory.
- Carry out the planned monthly schedule by visiting branches within the territory.
- Keep proper records of training sessions and customer conversations.
- Stay updated by completing certification programs such as Licentiate, Associate, Fellowship, NCFM, and similar programs.
- Attend external training programs to keep financial-sector knowledge current.
- Track and help achieve basic KPIs, including 16 mandays and 6 sales calls.
- Support month-on-month activation of all relationship officers in the assigned circle.
- Ensure the assigned branches remain active every month.
Travel requirement
The job involves travelling to allocated branches for about 12 to 15 days each month.
Reporting and relationships
