About the Role
Join QantasLink as a Training & Compliance Officer coordinating and managing all training aspects for A220 Flight and Cabin Crew. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with training regulations including initial, recurrent, and proficiency checks across simulator and ground training. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate training records, managing medical compliance, and supporting Aircrew legalities and documentation aligned with company operations and CASA legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the comprehensive scheduling and compliance of flight and cabin crew training activities.
- Maintain and update aircrew legalities, expiry databases, and records in compliance with operational manuals and regulatory bodies.
- Administer training-related roster adjustments to ensure adherence to industrial agreements, CASA regulations, and internal standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Flight Operations, Standards, Development, and ROC to optimize crew training effectiveness.
- Provide operational and administrative support within the Part 121 training organization.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years recent experience in operational environments such as aviation or transportation, preferably in rostering, training, or operational roles.
- Sound knowledge of airline operating procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure within time-sensitive, multitasking environments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of Aircrew Awards and applicable CASA regulations.
- Proven skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder influence.
- Proficiency in database management and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated capability to identify issues proactively and implement strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with airline crew management software iFlight, reservation systems like 1ARES, and Microsoft Office tools is desirable.
